When an email-only platform is enough
If you only send newsletters, do not need SMS or WhatsApp, and do not need carrier delivery reporting, a platform specialising purely in email will cover your needs and probably cost less. Wennov Connect makes sense when you communicate across several channels and want the same contact database, the same segments and the same reporting for all of them.
Frequently asked questions
Can I import my existing email lists?
Yes, by CSV import with field mapping, including custom fields. We recommend importing unsubscribe state too, and running list hygiene before the first campaign to detect invalid or risky addresses.
Will I lose sender reputation by switching platform?
Reputation attaches to your sending domain and the IP addresses used. If you keep the same domain and configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC correctly, domain reputation carries over. We still recommend gradual warm-up over the first weeks, and the platform manages that automatically.
Can I combine email and SMS in one automation?
Yes. Automations are channel-independent: send an email, wait two days, check whether it was opened, and send an SMS only to those who did not open it. Every step works from the same contact record.
What does real DLR reporting mean?
For SMS, the mobile carrier returns a report confirming whether the message reached the handset. Many platforms report only that the provider accepted the message. We show dispatch state and confirmed delivery state separately, plus the error code when delivery fails.
